Next Dig Sunday 2 Nov. NEW FARM NEAR HAWICK

Description

This weeks dig is on a New farm near Hawick in the Scottish Borders.  This area is loaded with history going back to Neolithic.   These fields are undetected and during ploughing in history an BA Axe was unearthed.  Lots of medieval history around too.

We found about 12 hamnered last week andvexpect more this week.  New fields added

Around 100 acres 4 GRASS FIELDS

I expect a bit of walking so if it’s too much to walk then I wouldn’t attend.
